伟德国际1946源于英国的宗旨是瞄准现代工学前沿，面向人类和国家对材料、信息、健康和能源等方面的重大需求，通过建设一支具有国际竞争力的教师队伍，开展高水平的科学技术研究，满足现代工程与应用科学领域的高层次人才需求，培养领军人才。学院设有材料科学与工程、量子电子学与光学工程、能源科学与工程和生物医学工程四个系，诚招杰出人才加盟。
伟德国际1946源于英国现有中国科学院院士2人，教育部“长江学者奖励计划”特聘教授4人，国家杰出青年基金获得者4人，国家基金委创新团队1个，教育部创新团队2个，“973”计划和国家重大研究计划首席科学家6人，青年首席科学家2人，中组部入选者6人，“ 青年项目”入选者27人。
材料科学与工程系及能源科学与工程系招聘的具体方向(不限于)有：

The College invites applications for tenure-track and tenured faculty positions at the level of Associate Professor or Professor. Areas of specific interest include:
1. Informational Materials: Optoelectronic and Non-linear Optical Materials, Semiconductor Materials etc.; 2. Energy Materials: Energy-Storing Materials, Photovoltaic Cell etc.; 3. Bio-Materials and Medical devices, Microfluidic, Tissue Engineering, Cancer Therapy, Molecular Electronics; 4. Material Engineering: Crystal Growing, Interface Structure and Properties, Thin Films, Fabrication-MBE/MOCVD/Sputtering; Electronic Materials; 5. Computational Materials Science.

Applicant must have earned a PhD degree in Materials science and engineering or a related field, preferably with postdoctoral research experience. The successful candidates will be expected to conduct independent academic work, obtain external funding, and engage in teaching and public service duties.
岗位待遇：
教授、副教授：启动经费200~500万；年薪40万起，实验室大于80平方米；住房120~140 平方米（优惠价格购入）。
专职研究员、副研究员：年薪15万起。
Personal and working conditions (depending on qualifications):
Start-up funds: 2 to 5 million RMB; Annual Salary: 400k RMB or more; Lab. Space: more than 80 m2, Housing: 120 to 140 m2 (at favorable price).
